Boat Accident Cases
If you think a motorcycle case is intricate, try handling a boat accident case. These events often happen far from traditional resources like police departments and EMS. A police report is almost never available and if you find one, it’s done after the fact. Witnesses are virtually impossible to find.
But, since MotoJustice struggles with very similar hurdles in Motorcycle Injury cases, we are fine-tuned to do the same in boating accidents. We have handled our share, and our most recent involved an accident in the marshes of Plaquemines Parish, far south of New Orleans, near the Gulf of Mexico. There were no witnesses and the report generated by Wildlife and Fisheries was full of errors and omissions. The driver of the boat was ticketed for his “intentional acts” which further complicated the matter.
MotoJustice stepped in and not only handled the Wildlife case (see the “about” section to see more about Jacque and his former life as a fishing guide), but the injuries too. The case settled without a lawsuit for $100,000.00 and the majority of the settlement went to the injured passenger on the boat. Another home run by the skilled lawyers at MotoJustice.
